The Educational Center at the Baltimore County Detention Center (BCDC) provides access to educational services to incarcerated youth ages 14-21 who have been charged as adults. Classes are geared towards preparing students to return to a comprehensive middle or high school. Five academic classes (Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, Health and Mathematics) are offered during the day. Additionally, transition classes on the subjects of parenting and returning to the home school are provided.
