Notre Dame of Maryland University and BCPS Partnership for MSDE Approved Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Courses - Spring 2024
MSDE Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credit courses offered through this partnership are online and asynchronous. Courses may be used to meet MSDE certification and certification renewal requirements and salary advancement. All courses are three (3) CPD credits and are eight weeks long.
Registration for the Spring 2024 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) session will open on Friday, December 8, 2023. Courses are offered in the following areas: behavior, human sexuality, literacy, mentoring new teachers, parent involvement, social studies, teacher leader university and world languages. Upon successful completion of any of these courses, participants will be issued MSDE CPD credits. Here is the schedule of spring offerings.
There is no cost for CPD courses for BCPS educators. CPD courses with the prefix CEED in the NDMU registration system are the only free courses sponsored by BCPS. Please click this link to the NDMU Professional Development Institute page to register.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
• You will receive an email registration notice from NDMU for BCPS CPD course(s) within 48 hours of your registration. Please note that the registration email may appear in your spam/junk folder. Your Notre Dame email address and login information will be included in the email.
• If you do not receive your registration, please contact the School of Education office at [email protected] or call Donna Schissler at (410) 532-5665 between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm Monday through Friday. Courses are accessible on the Brightspace Learning Management System (LMS) 24 hours before the course begins using your NDMU login credentials.
• If you have previously enrolled at NDMU, please continue to use your login credentials to access courses. If you know your username but cannot remember your password, you can reset your password at password.goucher.edu.
