The elementary science curriculum is aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards. Science instruction begins in Kindergarten and continues through grade five. Content from each year builds on the previous. In each unit, students learn about scientific phenomena by interacting with them through solving real-world, local problems. Along the way, students see how local companies and agencies apply the concepts they are learning in the real-world. The links below provides a complete layout of the curriculum from K-5.
