Young Scholars Program: The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation offers the opportunity for current high-performing 7th graders to apply for a selective five-year, pre-college scholarship if they demonstrate financial need. It provides academic advising, along with financial support for school, summer programs, internships, and other learning enrichment opportunities. For more information, visit their website

The Chesapeake Language Project: This organization has both a scholarship program (for current seniors) and mentor program (for current 8th and 9th graders) for students who are current or former English Learners to facilitator immigrant students' access to higher education and post-secondary opportunities.
