Employee Assistance Program

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is part of the Department of Human Resources. The EAP is a no-cost, confidential benefit for all employees that is also available to household members. The EAP provides short-term counseling (up to 10 sessions) with licensed mental health clinicians, and an extensive listing of work/life resources and referrals. Topics include childcare, adoption, eldercare, home care, pet care, legal and financial questions, relocation, summer youth activities, coping with disasters and more. 

Employees (includes regular, 10-month, 12-month, contract and temporary) and their household members can access EAP services 24/7 directly by calling the toll-free number 888-431-4334 or online at www.myCigna.com - use employer ID baltimore.
